General Federation of Women's Clubs

      The Geneal Federation of Woman's Clubs is one of the worlds largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational women's volunteer service organizations. It was founded in 1890 and chartered by Congress in 1901. Working locally in more than 6,500 clubs and globally in more than 20 countries, GFWC members promote education, encourage healthy lifestyles, and work toward world peace and understanding.
